The 18th International Ä°zmir Short Film Festival ended and the Golden Cat Awards were presented with a magnificent ceremony held at the Izmir Gaziantep Cultural Center.
The color award ceremony was organized with the contributions of Ä°zmir Metropolitan Municipality. Hakan Bilgin, who gave great support to the festival in the evening, took on the presenters. At the ceremony they found the owners of the Golden Cat rewards in 14 categories. This year, she received a record number of festivals and she had 400 short films from 82 countries, fiction, documentaries, animations and experimental dances.

The films competing in the national category for the Golden Cat were judged by Handan Ipekci , the jury president, and Harika Uygur, Ali Delikalkar, Deniz Çakır, Aziz Ä°mamoÄŸlu and Aytekin Çakmakçı.

The 18th İzmir International Short Film Festival was held with the contributions of Buca Municipality, Konak Municipality, Bornova Municipality, Karşıyaka Municipality and French Cultural Center, especially Prime Ministry Promotion Fund, Ministry of Culture, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and Cinema General Directorate.
