Izmir International Short Film Festival
The Izmir Short Film Festival is meeting film lovers for the 27th time this year. As Turkiye's longest-running short film organization, it is Turkiye's first and only Academy Award Qualifying Festival, placing it among the select few festivals in the world to have reached this standard.
The Izmir Short Film Festival is organized to support all professional and amateur film lovers working in short film in Turkiye, to increase their visibility, and to contribute to their work in order to further the development of short films. It offers a distinctive alternative to Izmir's cultural and artistic life. Through the talks held throughout the festival, film lovers enter the cinematic worlds of directors, experience many different perspectives, and enjoy a wealth of culture. Now in its 26th year, the Izmir International Short Film Festival is one of the most important culture and arts brands that Izmir has on the international stage.
